Description

The Breakout Box J1850 for Harley Davidson specifically makes the motoscope pro compatible with TwinCam models equipped with the older digital bus (SAE J1850).

You get the bus adapter and the right connector for your vehicle supplied. This connector only has to be connected to the screw terminals of the breakout box. The connecting cables of the motoscope pro are also connected to the breakout box. Then the connector is plugged into the original wiring harness and the motoscope Pro works. It could hardly be simpler.

– all H-D with TwinCam engine from 2004, plugs from DEUTSCH and dashboard on the tank (TwinCam).
– all H-D Sportster from 2004 with plugs from DEUTSCH (XL DEUTSCH).
– all H-D Sportster from 2004 with plugs from MOLEX (XL MOLEX).
– all H-D Vrod with connectors from DEUTSCH (VRSC).

Note:
This Breakout Box J1850 is NOT suitable for models with the new bus H-D LAN. Likewise, you can NOT connect our other instruments here. Use the m-CAN J1850 for this purpose.

Why?
It is possible that when you install your new turn signal, the flashing frequency no longer fits or an error code appears in the cockpit.

Solution:
1. Enter here the original flasher power (in watts). You will then receive a suggestion for a suitable* resistor that fixes the described problem.
2. or use one of our load-independent flasher relays.
