Description

LSL steering dampers

The designers of particularly sporty motorcycles with extremely low weight and extreme steering head angles regularly suffer from shimmy (handlebar flutter) and kick-back (handlebar slap) – phenomena that impair riding enjoyment and safety. In order to get these influences under control, steering dampers are used in racing. LSL offers this instrument for use on the road. The correct installation of the steering damper is of decisive importance for its optimum performance and faultless function. LSL therefore develops individual brackets for each model. The steering damper kits are equipped with model-specific parts certificates and the installation is described in detail in the fitting instructions.

Titanium version:
The compact, race-proven version consists of a titanium anodized, round damper cartridge with an 8 mm diameter damper rod.
The damping is adjustable in 7 levels.
Fixing: on the motor

Note:
The installation is particularly demanding and should only be carried out by qualified mechanics!

This could lead to problems when connecting to your vehicle.
If you have the option to replace the turn signal relay, we recommend that you use one of our load-independent turn signal relays.
If you are stuck, then we would be happy to hear from you.

ORDER THE MATCHING RESISTOR DIRECTLY WITH IT!

Why?
It is possible that when you install your new turn signal, the flashing frequency no longer fits or an error code appears in the cockpit.

Solution:
1. Enter here the original flasher power (in watts). You will then receive a suggestion for a suitable* resistor that fixes the described problem.
2. or use one of our load-independent flasher relays.
